- Ishani Shrestha: Beauty with a purpose winner from Nepal
Ishani Shrestha is a Nepalese beauty pageant titleholder who won the Miss Nepal World title in 2013 and went on to represent Nepal in the Miss World 2013 competition. She became the first-ever Beauty with a Purpose winner from Nepal at the Miss World 2013 Competition. She also secured a place in the Top 10 at Miss World 2013 competition. Her project was named Project Smile, whereas as a dentist, she organized a 3 days free dental camp at Jumla, Nepal with the slogan “One Smile at a Time.”
Ishani’s work towards combating Dental problems and promoting education and awareness about Oral Hygiene in Jumla, Nepal earned her recognition and admiration from people around the world. Today, she continues to be an inspiration to many, demonstrating how beauty and compassion can be combined to make a positive impact on society.
- Shrinkhala Khatiwada: Miss Nepal World-2018
Shrinkhala Khatiwada is a Nepalese architect, beauty pageant titleholder, and social activist who won the Miss Nepal World title in 2018 and represented Nepal in the Miss World 2018 competition. She is also a winner of the Beauty with a Purpose Award and the Multimedia Award. She set a benchmark for other fellow contestants with her Contestant Introduction video across 1 Million views within 1 day after publishing, and she was in the Top 12 of Miss World 2018.
Shrinkhala Khatiwada is the most popular Miss Nepal World till now as she brings Beauty with a Purpose Award home again after years. As an architect, she builds earthquake-resistant, eco-friendly Health Posts at Kailash Rural Municipality. She also organized campaigns to promote awareness and education on basic hygiene and family planning too.
Shrinkhala’s work towards promoting education and healthcare in Kailash Rural Municipality was recognized and gained appreciation all over the world. Anushka Shrestha: Miss Nepal World-2019
Anushka Shrestha is a Nepalese beauty pageant titleholder and entrepreneur who was crowned Miss Nepal World 2019. As a winner of Miss Nepal Oceania 2018, She is also known for being the Beauty with a Purpose winner and Multimedia winner at the Miss World 2019 pageant. She successfully achieved a benchmark set by her predecessor. Her Beauty with a Purpose was focused on promoting Education and sustainable livelihood generation at Solsing Village. As a commerce graduate, she organized various Vocational training such as carpet making, candle making, etc. She ensured a market for products produced by Solsing villagers as products are sold through soulsofsolsing.
The judges highly praised Anushka’s project at the Miss World 2019 pageant. Her project has also inspired many young women in Nepal to speak up and to work towards making a positive change in their communities. Today, she inspires many young women to be independent as she is the CEO of Makkusé (makkuse.com).
