Restro keeps the book behind the bill you already write.

Nothing about your service has to change. The waiter still writes the bill. What changes is that the numbers underneath it stop disappearing — which table waited, how much rice actually left the store, who still owes you, and what should be in the drawer.

It is not a POS

Most restaurant software sold in Nepal is billing-first: it exists to be the terminal that prints the guest's bill. If your restaurant bills by hand, that does not fit — and buying a printer and a till is not an answer to a bookkeeping problem. Restro sits behind the bill instead of replacing it.

Khata that the database enforces

Credit is only allowed against a registered customer inside their limit. The sale is refused otherwise — not warned about, refused.

Bikram Sambat, not a converted date

Periods are picked and closed by Nepali month, because that is the month your accountant works in and the one a period lock has to match.

A QR menu guests scan at the table

A public page per restaurant, rendered on the server so it opens quickly on a phone with two bars of signal.

Nothing to install

Every screen is a web page, built for a phone held in one hand in a dim dining room. No app store, no download, no device to buy.

What your staff actually see

Three screens from a working restaurant. Every number, dish and date below is real data from the software, not a drawing of it.

Restro floor screen: twelve tables, four occupied with running totals and waiting times, one at 1h 8m shown in red, eight marked free.
The floor. Twelve tables, four seated. The colour is the wait — T1 has been going an hour and eight minutes and turned red, the rest are inside their window. The running total sits on the table before anyone asks for the bill.
Restro kitchen screen listing fourteen dishes including Mutton Khana Set, Buff Momo, Chatamari and Kothey Momo, each with table number, elapsed time and a Start or Ready button.
The kitchen. Fourteen to make, oldest first, each ticket carrying its table and how long it has waited. One tap starts a dish, another marks it ready, and the floor sees it immediately.
Restro reports screen for Bhadra 2083 showing 494 bills, Rs 608,120 gross, 11 voided bills at a 2.17 percent void rate and Rs 14,404.80 of discounts.
Month end, in Bikram Sambat. Bhadra 2083 — not August 2026 — because that is the month your accountant works in. 494 bills, what was voided, what was discounted and by whom, from one period picker.
