Who We Are

Lattice Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a software studio and online magazine registered in Nepal. Our offices are in Kathmandu and Bharatpur-12, Chitwan. We run two kinds of work on this site: the Lattice journal at /blogs and the studio services pages at /services.

Data We Collect

Contact form. When you fill in the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. It collects anonymised data — page views, browser type, and general location — but we do not enable advertising features, User-ID tracking, or any option that links analytics data to an individual. Your IP address is anonymised before it leaves your browser.

Live chat. This site uses Tawk.to, a live chat widget that appears in the corner of most pages. Using the chat is optional. If you start a conversation, Tawk.to may collect your name, email address (if you choose to provide them), and the content of your chat. If you do not open the chat widget, Tawk.to still sets a functional cookie to remember your session state.

Images and media. Article images are served through Cloudinary, an image hosting and transformation service. Cloudinary may log request metadata (IP address, browser) in its server logs.

Admin authentication. The admin area uses Firebase Authentication. This area is not accessible to general site visitors and processes only login events for authorised staff.

How We Use It

We use contact form submissions only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Analytics data is reviewed in aggregate to understand which content is useful and how the site can be improved. We do not build individual profiles.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are kept for 12 months from the date received, then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google’s default retention settings (26 months), after which it is automatically deleted. Tawk.to chat transcripts are subject to Tawk.to’s own retention policy.

Cookies

This site sets the following cookies:

• Google Analytics 4 — analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that distinguish visitors and measure traffic. Set on all pages.
• Tawk.to — functional cookies that keep track of your chat session state. Set when the page loads; no chat data is collected unless you open the widget.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies. Doing so will not prevent you from reading any content on this site, but the live chat widget may not function correctly.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services process data when you visit this site. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you — for example, a message you sent via the contact form. To make a request, email info@latticenepal.com with “Data request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.

If you hold an account in one of our applications, you can ask us to close it and delete its data — see Data & Account Deletion. The rules for using our website and apps are set out in our Terms of Service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without direct notice.
