Most hosting in Nepal is sold and then forgotten. You get a hosting panel login, a welcome email, and the unspoken assumption that the rest is now your problem — until a certificate expires and the browser starts warning visitors away, or a disk fills up and the site quietly stops accepting uploads. Managed hosting means the opposite: a server that a person is responsible for. When a TLS certificate is a week from expiry or a disk is running low, we already know, because we are watching for it — and that holds whether the server is on a shared plan, a VPS, or a cloud account we manage for you on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or DigitalOcean.

We do not have a preferred platform we push you toward. When a shared server fits the project, we run one we operate and maintain ourselves — the same infrastructure this studio and journal run on. When a project needs a VPS, a managed cloud instance, a Kubernetes cluster, or a database-as-a-service, we set that up and run it on whichever cloud makes the most sense for the workload. Security is built in from the start on every platform we touch: firewalls locked to the ports a service actually needs, SSH access via keys only, TLS enforced everywhere, and the application running as a least-privilege user rather than as root. These are the basics that keep a site out of the breach reports, and they are not optional extras on any plan we offer.

For projects that need scale — multiple services, high availability, managed databases, or infrastructure that grows with the product — we configure and run cloud hosting under your own account on the platform that fits the workload: AWS for its depth of services, Google Cloud where analytics or ML is in scope, Azure for Microsoft-stack environments, and DigitalOcean for straightforward, cost-efficient managed infrastructure. The bill and the keys stay in your name. We adapt to the platform the project needs and run it for you afterward, so you are not left holding a console you never asked to learn.

A managed plan covers the unglamorous work that keeps a site alive and secure: scheduled backups that are tested rather than assumed, TLS certificates issued and renewed before anyone notices, security patches applied to the server and its dependencies, and uptime monitoring that alerts us — not you — when something stops responding. Intrusion attempts and automated scans are a daily reality for any server on the public internet; we tune the firewall, log what matters, and review alerts so threats are handled quietly rather than surfacing as a customer complaint. If you are moving from another host, we handle the migration: files, databases, email and DNS moved over with the cutover planned so the site does not go dark in the middle of it.

Hosting pairs naturally with the rest of what the studio does. When we build a site, it lands on a server we keep patched and monitored; when something breaks at two in the afternoon, the people who wrote the code and the people who run the server are the same team, reading the same logs. There is no ticket bounced between a developer and a faceless hosting desk — and because security is part of the brief from day one, a problem is caught before it becomes a breach rather than discovered after. That, more than any individual feature, is what "managed" is supposed to mean.
