Course Terms and Student Policy

Inquiries and Enrolment

Sending the inquiry form on the training page does not enrol you and does not commit you to pay. Your seat is confirmed only when we send you a written enrolment confirmation (by email, SMS or WhatsApp) that states the course, batch dates, class times, fee and payment schedule, and you pay the amount it asks for.

Batches are small. If a batch is full, we offer you a seat in the next one.

Fees and Payment

Fees are in Nepali rupees and are stated in your enrolment confirmation, including any instalment plan. The fee in your confirmation will not change for that batch. We issue a receipt for every payment. Please pay only to the accounts or in the ways listed in your confirmation, and check with us by phone if you receive payment instructions from anyone else.

Cancellations, Refunds and Transfers

• If we cancel a batch or postpone its start, you choose between a full refund of what you paid and a seat in the next batch.
• If you withdraw, the refund rules in your enrolment confirmation apply. Ask us about them before you pay, and we will put them in writing.
• Transfers. If you cannot continue, you can ask to move to a later batch of the same course once, subject to seats.

Schedule and Attendance

Classes run at the times in your enrolment confirmation. If we must move a class (instructor illness, power cuts, public holidays, bandhs), we tell you as early as we can and schedule a make-up session. If you miss a class, ask for the notes and lab exercises; we do not repeat whole sessions for individual students.

Completion and Career Support

You receive a Lattice Nepal course completion letter if you attend at least the share of classes and finish the lab work stated in your enrolment confirmation. It records what you studied; it is not a government or vendor certification such as CompTIA, AWS or Microsoft.

Resume, LinkedIn, mock-interview and job-search help is part of every course. We prepare you for job applications, but we do not promise a job, an interview, or a salary.

Legal Use of Security Skills

The Ethical Hacking and Incident Response course teaches attack techniques so you can defend against them. During the course you may only test the lab machines and targets we provide. Outside class, test only systems you own or have written permission to test.

Accessing or damaging a computer system without permission is an offence under Nepal’s Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2008), and under the laws of most other countries. If a student uses course material against systems without permission, we will remove them from the course without a refund and may report the matter to the police.

Conduct and Lab Rules

• Treat instructors and other students with respect. Harassment of any kind ends your place on the course.
• Do not install software on our machines or connect them to other networks unless an instructor asks you to.
• Do not share lab passwords, cloud accounts or keys you are given; they belong to the lab and are reset after each batch.
• Any cloud accounts we provide are for course exercises only. Do not run personal or commercial workloads on them.

Laptops and Equipment

Before the course starts we tell you whether to bring your own laptop and the minimum specification. You are responsible for your own devices on our premises.

Course Materials

Slides, notes, lab guides and recordings are for your own study. Do not sell, publish or share them outside your batch without our written permission. Tools and software used in class remain under their own licences.

Photos and Student Records

We do not publish your name, photo or work on our website or social media without your written consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

For enrolled students we keep your contact details, payment receipts, attendance and lab results. We use them to run the course, issue your completion letter, and confirm your attendance to an employer only if you ask us to. Payment records are kept as long as Nepal tax law requires; the rest are deleted on request once you no longer need us to confirm your completion. Inquiry form data is handled as set out in our privacy policy.

Liability and Governing Law

We teach with care, but we are not responsible for how you use what you learn, or for loss of or damage to personal belongings on our premises unless caused by our negligence. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes fall under the courts of Chitwan.
