Next.js · React · FastAPIMost web work in Nepal arrives as a theme and a stack of plugins. It looks finished on launch day and starts to drift a month later, when an update breaks the checkout or a plugin the agency no longer maintains stops loading. We work the other way around. The interface is React and Next.js, the API is FastAPI, and the data sits in PostgreSQL — three layers we write and own, so a change to the database is a change we can trace all the way to the screen.
That matters most for the work that is not a brochure: a booking system, an internal dashboard, a portal where customers log in and see their own records. This site is our own proof — the Lattice journal and this studio run on the exact Next.js and FastAPI stack we sell, served from a server in our own managed hosting. We migrated it off WordPress ourselves, so we know where the WordPress road ends and why a real application is worth building when the requirements outgrow a page builder.
A build starts with a written scope: the pages, the data each one reads and writes, and what "done" means, agreed before any code is written. We ship in small pieces you can open in a browser early, on a staging URL, rather than holding everything back for one launch-day reveal. Every project gets a performance and accessibility pass before it goes live — pages that load on a Kathmandu mobile connection, structured so search engines and screen readers can both read them.
When the site is part of a wider product, the same back end serves the mobile app, so the two never disagree about a price or a stock count. When it needs to be edited by non-developers, we build the content model so the team can change copy and images without calling us. And when it ships, it ships onto a server we manage and keep patched — the work does not end at handover, which is the whole point of running a studio rather than selling a template.

What clients ask
- How much does a website cost in Nepal?
- It depends on whether you need a content-managed marketing site or a web application with logins, data and an admin panel. We do not quote from a price list. After a short scoping conversation we send a written scope with a fixed price for that scope, so you know the number before any work starts.
- Why Next.js and FastAPI instead of WordPress?
- WordPress is fine for a simple blog or brochure. Once you need accounts, custom logic, a dashboard, or an app sharing the same data, a real application is faster, more secure and cheaper to maintain than a tower of plugins. We migrated our own site off WordPress onto this stack, so we can tell you honestly which one your project needs.
- Do you host and maintain what you build?
- Yes. We run managed hosting on the platform the project needs — shared, VPS, or cloud on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or DigitalOcean — with security hardening, backups, certificate renewals and patching handled by us. The same people who wrote the code answer when something breaks.
