Offshore software development for Canadian companies, from Nepal.

Canadian founders and product teams hire us to build web applications, mobile apps and the cloud they run on. The clock is far apart, so we run on a fixed daily window and written handoffs, and say so before you sign.

When Toronto starts at nine, it is a quarter to seven in the evening in Nepal in summer and a quarter to eight in winter. We keep an hour or two there for stand-ups and reviews, and run the rest of the day on written handoffs: you leave questions at the end of your afternoon and find answers, and the code in a pull request, the next morning. For Vancouver the overlap moves to your late afternoon and our early morning. It suits a product with a clear owner and decent tickets; it suits a team that decides everything on a call less well, and we will tell you which one you are in the first conversation.

PIPEDA allows personal information to be processed outside Canada, but you stay accountable for it. Principle 4.1.3 expects contractual or other means that give it a comparable level of protection while it is with a third party, and the Privacy Commissioner’s guidance is that people should be told their information may be processed in another country. We sign your data-processing terms before access is granted, work inside your own cloud accounts rather than copying data out, and remove access the day the engagement ends. If you operate in Quebec, Law 25 adds a privacy impact assessment before personal information is communicated outside the province; we give you the technical details that assessment needs.

Contracting is the same as with any foreign vendor. Lattice Nepal is a registered Nepal company: we sign your NDA, master services agreement and IP assignment, invoice monthly or against milestones by international bank transfer, and the code lives in your own GitHub or GitLab organisation from the first commit.

Work we can name

Three ways to start

However ready you are

  1. 01

    Dedicated team

A small team of engineers — typically two to six — working only on your product under your direction, billed at a flat monthly rate. We handle the hiring, the management and the cover when someone is out; you get the output and the roadmap.

    Monthly · embedded
  2. 02

    Build your idea

A defined product or MVP built from a written scope and a fixed price. Right when you know what you want, need it shipped, and would rather buy an outcome than manage a team day to day.

    Fixed scope · MVP
  3. 03

    Roadmap & feasibility

A short paid engagement for founders with an idea and no technical plan. We test the idea, draft the IT roadmap, and tell you honestly what it takes — a document you own and can act on with us or anyone else.

    Short · advisory
How it starts

The first 30 days

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree the exact thing to build and what "done" means before any code is written.

  2. 02

    Build

We ship in small, reviewable pieces you can see early, not one big reveal at the end.

  3. 03

    Ship

We deploy to a real server, with a runbook anyone on the team can follow.

  4. 04

    Run

We host it, back it up, and fix it when it breaks. The work does not stop at launch.

Common questions

What Canada clients ask

How do you handle the time difference with Canada?
Nepal is UTC+5:45 with no daylight saving. The start of the Eastern day is our evening, and we hold a fixed window there for calls. For Vancouver, late afternoon your time is early morning ours. Everything outside that window runs on written handoffs, so the work moves overnight.
Is it allowed under PIPEDA to have developers in Nepal?
Yes. PIPEDA does not forbid processing outside Canada; it holds you accountable for the information and expects a comparable level of protection by contract. We sign your data-processing terms and keep access limited to named engineers. Quebec businesses also need a privacy impact assessment under Law 25. Your own legal adviser should confirm the wording for your case.
Who owns the code and the cloud accounts?
You do, from the first day. The contract assigns the IP to you, the repositories and cloud accounts are in your name, and we work inside them with access you can revoke.
How is the work priced?
Either a flat monthly rate for a dedicated team, or a fixed price for a written scope. Both are quoted in writing before you commit. You will not get an hourly timesheet to audit.
