Offshore software development for UK businesses, from Nepal.

UK startups and small businesses hire us to build and run their web applications, mobile apps and cloud infrastructure. A small named team in Nepal does the work, and your morning is our afternoon.

When London starts at nine, it is a quarter to three in the afternoon in Nepal in winter and a quarter to two in summer. That gives a UK team three to four hours of live overlap every working day — enough for a morning stand-up, a review and a round of questions — and by the time you log in, the previous day’s work is already in a pull request with a written note on what changed and what is blocked.

The usual offshore failure is an hourly marketplace contractor: work that stops when the person does, code in someone else’s account, no review. We run as a studio instead. The engineers on your product are named, managed by us and covered when someone is on leave, and everything is built in your own GitHub or GitLab organisation and deployed to your own AWS, Google Cloud or Azure account.

Data protection is the part UK buyers ask about first, and rightly. Nepal does not have a UK adequacy decision, so if our engineers can see personal data, UK GDPR treats that as a restricted transfer and you need a safeguard in place — usually the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. We sign whichever your solicitor prefers. In practice we also keep the surface small: most work runs against anonymised or test data, and production access is limited to the people who need it.

Work we can name

Three ways to start

However ready you are

  1. 01

    Dedicated team

A small team of engineers — typically two to six — working only on your product under your direction, billed at a flat monthly rate. We handle the hiring, the management and the cover when someone is out; you get the output and the roadmap.

    Monthly · embedded
  2. 02

    Build your idea

A defined product or MVP built from a written scope and a fixed price. Right when you know what you want, need it shipped, and would rather buy an outcome than manage a team day to day.

    Fixed scope · MVP
  3. 03

    Roadmap & feasibility

A short paid engagement for founders with an idea and no technical plan. We test the idea, draft the IT roadmap, and tell you honestly what it takes — a document you own and can act on with us or anyone else.

    Short · advisory
How it starts

The first 30 days

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree the exact thing to build and what "done" means before any code is written.

  2. 02

    Build

We ship in small, reviewable pieces you can see early, not one big reveal at the end.

  3. 03

    Ship

We deploy to a real server, with a runbook anyone on the team can follow.

  4. 04

    Run

We host it, back it up, and fix it when it breaks. The work does not stop at launch.

Common questions

What United Kingdom clients ask

Is outsourcing to Nepal compatible with UK GDPR?
Yes, with the right paperwork. Nepal has no UK adequacy decision, so access to personal data from Nepal is a restricted transfer. The usual safeguard is the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, which we sign before access is given. We also work on test data wherever we can. Your own legal adviser should confirm the right mechanism for your case.
How much of the UK working day do we share?
Three to four hours. Nepal is 5 hours 45 minutes ahead of London in winter and 4 hours 45 minutes ahead in British Summer Time, so your 9 am to about 12:15 or 1:15 pm overlaps our afternoon. We schedule calls there and hand the rest over in writing.
Who owns the intellectual property?
You do. The contract assigns the IP in the work to you, and the code lives in your repositories from the first commit. We keep nothing back to hold over you.
Can you take over a project another agency started?
Yes. We start with a short paid review of the code, hosting and deploy process, tell you plainly what is sound and what is not, and then either continue it or recommend a rebuild — with the reasons written down.
