Software development for Singapore businesses, built in Nepal.

Singapore startups and regional teams use us to build web applications, mobile apps and the cloud infrastructure under them. Nepal is two and a quarter hours behind, so most of the working day is shared.

Singapore runs on UTC+8 and Nepal on UTC+5:45, and neither changes its clocks, so the gap is the same all year. When we start at nine it is a quarter past eleven in Singapore, and your six o’clock is our quarter to four, which leaves about six hours of overlap every working day. Stand-ups, design reviews and production questions happen live, the same as with a team down the road. Kuala Lumpur keeps the same clock, so regional teams split across the two cities get the same hours.

Singapore teams usually come to us for engineering capacity they cannot hire fast enough at home: a product team for a new build, a second team to take maintenance and infrastructure off the core engineers, or a careful takeover of a codebase another vendor left behind. The engineers on your product are named and managed by us, and everything is built in your own repositories and deployed to your own AWS, Google Cloud or Azure account, in the Singapore region if you want it there.

Under the PDPA, the Transfer Limitation Obligation means personal data sent outside Singapore must stay protected to a standard comparable to the Act, and the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2021 let a contract with the recipient carry that obligation. We sign those terms before any access is granted. In practice the data rarely moves at all: it stays in your cloud account and region, and our engineers work on it remotely with access you can revoke.

Work we can name

Three ways to start

However ready you are

  1. 01

    Dedicated team

A small team of engineers — typically two to six — working only on your product under your direction, billed at a flat monthly rate. We handle the hiring, the management and the cover when someone is out; you get the output and the roadmap.

    Monthly · embedded
  2. 02

    Build your idea

A defined product or MVP built from a written scope and a fixed price. Right when you know what you want, need it shipped, and would rather buy an outcome than manage a team day to day.

    Fixed scope · MVP
  3. 03

    Roadmap & feasibility

A short paid engagement for founders with an idea and no technical plan. We test the idea, draft the IT roadmap, and tell you honestly what it takes — a document you own and can act on with us or anyone else.

    Short · advisory
How it starts

The first 30 days

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree the exact thing to build and what "done" means before any code is written.

  2. 02

    Build

We ship in small, reviewable pieces you can see early, not one big reveal at the end.

  3. 03

    Ship

We deploy to a real server, with a runbook anyone on the team can follow.

  4. 04

    Run

We host it, back it up, and fix it when it breaks. The work does not stop at launch.

Common questions

What Singapore clients ask

How many working hours do we share with Singapore?
About six. Nepal is UTC+5:45 and Singapore is UTC+8, with no daylight saving on either side, so the gap is always 2 hours 15 minutes. Our 9 am is 11:15 am in Singapore, and your 6 pm is 3:45 pm here.
Does working with a Nepal team meet the PDPA transfer rules?
It can. The Transfer Limitation Obligation asks that data sent overseas be protected to a comparable standard, and a contract with the recipient is one of the accepted ways to do that. We sign it before access is given, and keep the data in your own cloud region wherever possible. Your own adviser should confirm the wording for your case.
Can our infrastructure stay in the Singapore cloud region?
Yes. AWS, Google Cloud and Azure all run Singapore regions. We deploy to your own account in the region you choose and operate it remotely.
Can you take over an app another vendor built?
Yes. We start with a short paid review of the code, hosting and deploy process, tell you plainly what is sound and what is not, and then either continue it or recommend a rebuild — with the reasons written down.
