Prabhu Bank Internet Banking Login: eBanking & DiGi Prabhu

Prabhu Bank internet banking login guide: Prabhu eBanking and DiGi Prabhu app, how to register, reset passwords, limits, charges and customer care contacts.

Prabhu Bank runs two separate digital channels, and most of the confusion around "Prabhu Bank internet banking login" comes from mixing them up. Prabhu eBanking is the browser-based internet banking service, reached at ibank.prabhubank.com. DiGi Prabhu is the mobile banking service, used through the DiGi Prabhu app on Android and iPhone and also through a web login at digiprabhu.prabhubank.com. The app used to be listed as "Prabhu Mobile Banking": the bank's mobile banking page still links to the App Store under that name, the old link redirects to DiGi Prabhu, and the App Store description still uses it. On the App Store the seller is Prabhu Bank Limited; on Google Play the developer is listed as F1Soft, the company that builds the app, and the listing describes Digi Prabhu as Prabhu Bank's official mobile banking app.

This guide covers how to apply for each service, where to log in, what to do when you forget your password or get locked out, the transaction limits and fees Prabhu Bank publishes, and which number to call when something goes wrong. Every figure below comes from Prabhu Bank's own website, its July 2025 Standard Tariff of Charges, or its app-store listings.

Prabhu eBanking vs DiGi Prabhu: What Each One Does

Both services work on the same Prabhu Bank account, but they are subscribed separately on the bank's application form and carry different limits and fees.

Prabhu eBanking (internet banking) is the bank's web service for account holders. According to the bank's internet banking page, it covers three groups of services:

  • Enquiry services: account information, account statement, interest statement and tax statement.
  • Transaction services: balance transfer and third-party transfer.
  • Utility payments: wallet loading, NT top-up/recharge and Ncell top-up.

DiGi Prabhu (mobile banking) works over mobile data or SMS. The bank's mobile banking page lists these features:

  • Account details, balance enquiry and a mini statement of the last three transactions.
  • SMS transaction alerts.
  • Recharge and bill payments for Nepal Telecom, Broadlink, Dish Home, WorldLink and other billers, plus NT and Ncell top-ups.
  • Wallet loading.
  • Fund transfer to Prabhu Bank accounts and to accounts at Fonepay member banks (IBFT).
  • QR code payments.

The app-store listing adds that DiGi Prabhu is a member of the Fonepay network, which is why the same app can pay at Fonepay QR merchants. In short: use Prabhu eBanking on a laptop when you need statements, tax and interest certificates or a higher daily transfer ceiling, and use DiGi Prabhu for QR payments, top-ups and day-to-day transfers.

How to Register for Prabhu Bank Internet and Mobile Banking

Prabhu Bank handles registration through a single paper form titled "Application for Mobile Banking/Internet Banking/Debit Card", which is available on the bank's downloads page and at branches. The same form is used for new subscriptions and for later changes, so it is worth keeping a copy.

  1. Get the form. Download it from the Prabhu Bank website (Download Forms section) or ask for it at your branch. It is addressed to the manager of the branch where your account is held.
  2. Fill in the applicant details. The form asks for account name, account number, mobile number and email ID. These are the details the bank uses to send your password and authentication codes, so make sure the mobile number and email are ones you control.
  3. Choose your internet banking user ID. The form lets you pick your e-mail ID, mobile number or CIF code as your I-banking user ID, or propose another. The form explains that the CIF code is the middle eight digits of your account number, and the bank may add a prefix or suffix if the ID you propose is not unique.
  4. Tick the facilities you want. For Mobile Banking, the options are "SMS & Account info View Only" or "Full Feature (Includes Alert & Transaction)". For I-Banking, they are "Account Info View only" or "Full Feature (Including Transaction)". If you want to send money, pick Full Feature.
  5. Tick the box for use from abroad if it applies. The terms state that customers who want to use mobile or internet banking from outside Nepal must inform the bank before leaving. The form has a separate tick box for this.
  6. List the accounts to link. You can link up to three account numbers and mark which service each one gets.
  7. Sign and submit at the branch. The bank verifies your details and may decline the application at its discretion.
  8. Change the password straight away. Once the bank sends your username and password, the terms require you to change the password immediately.

The SMS alert note on the form says alerts are enabled for transactions of NPR 1,000 and above, while the bank's mobile banking page says alerts go out for every debit and credit of Rs 300 or above, so ask your branch which threshold applies to your account. For DiGi Prabhu, install the app from Google Play or the App Store. The store listing states that you need a valid Prabhu Bank account and a subscription to the bank's mobile banking service before the app will work, so submit the form first.

Prabhu Bank's website does not publish step-by-step screens for in-app self-registration. If you would rather not visit a branch, ask the e-banking team on the contact details further down whether your account type can be activated remotely.

How to Log In to Prabhu Bank Internet Banking

Prabhu Bank's homepage lists three login entries: e-Banking, DiGi Prabhu and e-Banking (Corporate). For retail customers, the two that matter are:

  1. Type the address yourself or open it from the official prabhubank.com homepage. Do not use links from SMS messages or social media posts.
  2. Check that the address bar shows a prabhubank.com address over https before entering anything.
  3. Enter the user ID you chose on the application form and your password.
  4. Complete any one-time password or verification step the portal asks for.
  5. Log out when you finish, especially on a shared or office computer.

Corporate customers use the separate e-Banking (Corporate) entry on the homepage. Business accounts are not covered in this guide.

Forgot Password or Account Locked: How to Reset It

Prabhu Bank handles password resets and unblocking through the same application form used for registration. Under the "Amendment" column, the I-Banking row has options for Block, Unblock and Reset Password, and the Mobile Banking row has Block, Unblock and Reset PIN.

Resetting an internet banking password

  1. Fill in the applicant details on the form as you did when registering.
  2. In the I-Banking row, tick "Reset Password". If your access has been blocked, tick "Unblock" as well.
  3. Sign and submit the form at your branch.
  4. When the new credentials arrive, log in and change the password at once, as the terms require.

Resetting a DiGi Prabhu PIN

  1. On the same form, tick "Reset PIN" in the Mobile Banking row.
  2. If you have changed your phone number, tick "Change Mobile No" and fill in both the old and new numbers.
  3. Submit at the branch. The tariff lists a mobile banking password reset charge of Rs 50 per request when it is requested at the bank counter.

Why accounts get locked: the terms state that three wrong PIN entries in a row on digital services, ATM or POS make the service inoperative. To restore it, you have to submit a written application to the bank. If you only need a quick block or unblock, Prabhu Bank's account block and support page lists 9851114742 and 9701012222.

Fund Transfer, Bill Payment and Other Features

Fund transfer

Prabhu eBanking supports balance transfer and third-party transfer. DiGi Prabhu supports transfers to other Prabhu Bank accounts and inter-bank fund transfer (IBFT) to accounts at Fonepay member banks. The tariff lists IBFT charges from the mobile app at up to Rs 10 per transfer, depending on the network provider.

The terms state that transactions cannot be changed or reversed once executed. If you send money to the wrong account, contact the bank immediately; it may hold or settle the amount only after the account holder's written confirmation.

Bill payments and top-ups

On the web, Prabhu eBanking lists wallet loading, NT top-up/recharge and Ncell top-up. DiGi Prabhu covers a wider set: NT and Ncell top-ups and recharge cards, bill payments for Broadlink, Dish Home, WorldLink and others, and wallet loading.

Statements and certificates

Prabhu eBanking lets you view your account statement, interest statement and tax statement, which is useful at tax time or when a lender asks for proof of interest income. DiGi Prabhu shows a mini statement of the last three transactions.

QR payments

DiGi Prabhu can scan Fonepay QR codes to pay at shops. The tariff lists third-party charges for SMS and QR payments "as mutually agreed with service provider", so check the confirmation screen before you pay.

Prabhu Bank Transaction Limits and Charges

These limits are published on Prabhu Bank's internet banking and mobile banking pages. All amounts are in Nepali rupees.

Security Practices for Prabhu eBanking and DiGi Prabhu

The bank's terms state plainly that Prabhu Bank will never ask for your login ID, password or OTP by email, phone call, web chat or social media. Anyone who does is not the bank. A few habits go a long way:

  • Change the password the bank issues as soon as you receive it, and do not reuse it on other sites.
  • Never share your PIN, OTP or password, including with someone claiming to be bank staff. The terms make the customer responsible for losses that come from shared credentials.
  • Report a lost card, PIN, password or any other banking instrument the bank issued to you immediately. The terms require it.
  • Tell the bank before travelling abroad if you plan to use mobile or internet banking from outside Nepal.
  • Keep the DiGi Prabhu app updated from the official store listing. The App Store listing says the app uses 128-bit SSL encryption while you are logged in.
