Kumari Bank internet banking login guide: Omni Channel web banking, Kumari Smart app activation, PIN reset, published charges and customer care numbers.
Kumari Bank sells its internet and mobile banking as one package. On the bank's own site, the internet banking service is listed as Omni Channel (Internet Banking), the mobile app is Kumari Smart, and the charges page bills the two together as "Omni Channel (Mobile and Internet Banking)". If you have been searching for "Kumari Bank internet banking login" or "Kumari Bank mobile banking", these are the products you want. They also apply to former Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank customers: the bank's own history page says NCC Bank merged into Kumari Bank and the combined bank has operated as Kumari Bank Limited since 1 January 2023.
This guide explains what each channel does, how to activate Kumari Smart on your phone, how internet banking credentials are issued, what to do when you forget a password or PIN, the fees Kumari Bank publishes, and which contact to use for each kind of problem. Every figure here comes from kumaribank.com, Kumari Bank's terms and conditions, or the official Kumari Smart store listings.
Omni Channel Internet Banking vs Kumari Smart: What Each One Does
Omni Channel (Internet Banking) is the browser service. Kumari Bank describes it as a way to monitor your accounts from anywhere with a few clicks, and lists these features:
- Current balance in real time
- Transaction search and a daily transaction view
- Fund transfer within Kumari Bank and to other banks
- Future-dated payment instructions within your own accounts or group accounts
- Statement download
Kumari Smart is the mobile banking app, published by Kumari Bank on Google Play and the App Store. The bank's mobile banking page lists:
- Account details and account statements
- Fund transfer within Kumari Bank and to other banks
- Nepal Electricity Authority bill payments
- NTC and Ncell mobile top-ups, plus wallet top-ups
- NT ADSL and landline bill payments
- Credit card bill payments
- Cable TV bill payments (Dish Home, SIM TV and others)
- Airline ticket purchases
- Internet bill payments and merchant payments
- Exchange rates, branch locations and ATM locations
The store listing adds QR scan-and-pay and instant payments through the Fonepay network. A recent update note on the App Store also says the app no longer offers Domestic Remit, so do not expect to find that option.
In practice, the website is easier for statement downloads and scheduled transfers between your own accounts. The app is better for bills, top-ups, QR payments and quick transfers.
How to Register for Kumari Smart Mobile Banking
Kumari Bank publishes the activation steps on its mobile banking registration page. The bank says you do not need to visit a branch, but you do need to be a Kumari Bank account holder, and the mobile number you use should be your own. The bank's FAQ notes that it cannot verify who owns a number.
- Install Kumari Smart from Google Play or the App Store. Check that the developer is shown as Kumari Bank (Google Play) or Kumari Bank Limited (App Store).
- Open the app and tap "ACTIVATE SERVICE".
- Enter your mobile number, account number and citizenship number.
- Enter the activation code that arrives by SMS.
- Create your login password. The bank's FAQ says it must be at least 8 characters and alphanumeric. It does not expire automatically.
- Set your transaction PIN, then log in. The PIN is 4 digits, and you can change it as often as you like.
Kumari Bank also points to a short video walkthrough from its mobile banking page. The FAQ also describes branch enrolment: fill in the Kumari Smart Mobile Banking form at your branch. Any Kumari Bank customer with at least one savings or current account is eligible.
Once you are in, you can turn on fingerprint access for both the login password and the transaction PIN from the app's Settings.
How to Register for Kumari Bank Internet Banking
Internet banking is requested on paper. Kumari Bank's downloads page carries the All-In-One Internet/Mobile Banking & Debit Card Request Form, and the terms printed with it set out how access is issued:
- Download and fill in the All-In-One form from the Kumari Bank downloads page, or pick one up at a branch.
- Submit it to the bank. The terms say the bank may accept or reject applications at its discretion.
- Receive your username and password by email. The bank sends the first set of credentials to your email address.
- Activate with the code sent to your phone. The terms require you to activate access with an activation code received on your mobile.
- Change the password. The terms ask you to change it once activated and then to keep changing it as often as possible.
Joint accounts operated by "anyone" can use internet banking if no joint holder is a minor and all holders have agreed in writing. For a minor's account, the guardian named in the account opening form is the eligible user.
How to Log In to Kumari Bank Internet Banking
Go to the official Kumari Bank website at www.kumaribank.com and use the internet banking login from there. Do not trust links in SMS messages, social media posts or search ads.
- Check that the address bar shows a kumaribank.com address over https before you type anything.
- Enter the username the bank emailed you and your password.
- Complete the one-time password or verification step if the portal asks for one.
- Log out when you finish, especially on shared or office computers.
For Kumari Smart, open the app and log in with your password or fingerprint. Kumari Smart also has a browser version: the bank's web login for it is at kblonline.kumaribank.com. The page is titled "Kumari Smart", and the FAQ the bank publishes on that host describes the service as an omnichannel one that works from a desktop browser or the app. The FAQ on kumaribank.com says the service works on NTC and Ncell networks only, and that it can be used from outside Nepal over a data connection.
Forgot Password, PIN or Locked Out
Kumari Smart transaction PIN
The bank's FAQ says that if you forget your Kumari Smart PIN, you need to fill in the PIN re-generate form at a branch. The charges page lists PIN re-generation for the Omni Channel service at Rs 25.
Internet banking password
Kumari Bank's pages on the service do not describe a self-service password reset for internet banking. Contact the Digital Banking Department (details below) or visit your branch to request a reset. Bring your citizenship certificate or other ID, since the bank has to confirm you are the account holder.
Changed your phone number?
Activation codes and OTPs go to your registered number. The FAQ says a number change has to be made at your nearest branch. Do this before you try any reset, or the codes will go to your old SIM.
Lost phone
The FAQ asks you to call 01-5970499 immediately if the phone with Kumari Smart is lost or stolen, so the service can be blocked.
Changed your phone?
Kumari Smart stores your device ID at first login. The bank's FAQ on kblonline.kumaribank.com says that after a device change or system upgrade the app reports an unauthorised user, and that you either ask the bank to reset your device or use the self-reset option while logging in.
Fund Transfer, Bill Payment and Other Features
Fund transfer
Both channels support transfers within Kumari Bank and to other banks. Internet banking also allows future-dated payment instructions between your own or group accounts. If the app gives no response within 30 seconds after a transaction, the FAQ asks you to contact the Digital Banking Department on 01-5970499 rather than retrying. If you send money to the wrong account, call the bank immediately. The FAQ warns that funds cannot be reversed once the recipient has withdrawn them.
Bills and top-ups
Kumari Smart handles NEA electricity bills, NT ADSL and landline bills, internet bills, cable TV, credit card bills, airline tickets, merchant payments, and NTC, Ncell and wallet top-ups.
QR payments
The store listing confirms QR scan-and-pay through the Fonepay network. Kumari Bank lists Fonepay fund transfers at Rs 10 per transaction.
Missed call banking
Kumari Bank also runs missed call banking for basic tasks without data. On its website, balance enquiry is 9863199051, mini statement is 9863199052, Rs 50 mobile top-up is 9863199050 and Rs 100 mobile top-up is 9863199100.

The FAQ adds that there are no extra transaction charges apart from inter-bank transfers and the annual package fee, and that ordinary SMS costs come from your phone balance. Some accounts carry their own terms. Kumari Bank's product pages state, for example, that mobile and internet banking are free for Kumari Youth Saving Account holders under 35.
Transaction limits: Kumari Bank does not publish per-transaction or daily transfer limits for Kumari Smart or internet banking on its website. The current limits are shown in the app and on the internet banking portal when you make a transfer. You can also confirm them with the Digital Banking Department.
Security Practices
- Never share your password, PIN or OTP with anyone. The terms make the customer responsible for losses that come from disclosed credentials.
- Change the emailed internet banking password when you activate it, and keep changing it. The terms ask for this as often as possible.
- Check for https and a kumaribank.com address before logging in.
- Use only a mobile number registered in your own name. The bank cannot check who owns a number.
